      MY ACCOUNT PAGE

Your MY ACCOUNT page can be found by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner of any page in the platform.

Here, you are able to reset your password, view, purchase, and redeem survey credits, and review the status and results of your various surveys.

Use the menu on the left side of your screen, navigate through each phase of the survey process.

To begin a new survey, select SET UP SURVEY and complete the five simple setup questions.

Do not include the CEO or most senior leader of the group being assessed in your employee count.

Plan to keep your survey open for 10 business days to ensure team members have sufficient time to complete it.

Select the PREVIEW SURVEY button to review what your participants will see when taking the survey.

After completing the survey setup, you can move on to the communication step by pressing the FINISH SETUP button.

      SURVEY COMMUNICATION

For buy-in and strong participation, it is important to tell your employees about the survey and explain the value of their participation.

You have five clear opportunities to communicate to your participants throughout the survey process, and the COMMUNICATION page offers template text and a recommended send schedule.

Pay attention to the yellow highlighted text; these are the areas that need certain customization.

The SURVEY GUIDELINES provide general reminders regarding taking the survey.

The SURVEY LINK contains the unique URL for the survey. This unique link must be provided to your participants in order to take the survey. Remind your employees to only take the survey once and to not share the link with anyone outside the company. For the most accurate data, the CEO or most senior leader of the group taking the survey should not participate in the assessment.

Select the PREVIEW SURVEY button at the top of the screen to see exactly what employees will see when taking the survey.

    • DURING & AFTER YOUR SURVEY

      TRACK YOUR SURVEY PROGRESS

The YOUR SURVEY PROGRESS page provides real-time insights on the participation rate of your survey.

You can extend the close date by selecting the EXTEND CLOSE DATE button or you can close the survey by selecting the CLOSE SURVEY NOW button.

Always aim for at least 75% participation. The higher the response rate, the deeper the insights to your culture.

You need at least 50% completion in order to close a survey. If necessary, use the provided email template links to remind employees of the importance of participating.

      RESULTS & KEY TERMS

On the upper right-hand side of the page, you will find the OVERALL ENGAGEMENT SCORE for the company. This single number, the average score of all 28 survey questions, allows an employee to compare their level of engagement with E3’s global data.

TOP STRENGTHS & OPPORTUNITIES identifies your 3 top strengths (highest scores) and 3 areas of opportunity (lowest scores).

The ENGAGEMENT DISTRIBUTION graph shows where each employee falls within the four categories of engagement.
Actively Engaged are generally your most positive and productive employees.
Engaged employees are solid performers you can count on for quality work and good teamwork.
Somewhat Disengaged employees often underperform and are inconsistent in performance and behavior.
Actively Disengaged employees generally do the bare minimum to get through the day and are prone to a negative demeanor.

The ENGAGEMENT DIMENSIONS take your survey insights to a granular level by understanding how each group of questions reflects specific elements that drive healthy work cultures.

      ENGAGEMENT DIMENSIONS

In the ENGAGEMENT DIMENSIONS, leaders are evaluated on how effectively they create conditions that promote accountability, alignment, capability, communication, and relationships - dimensions which allow employees to work at their best.

The detailed Engagement Dimension view lists each survey question categorized by Dimension. The score for each individual question is listed along with E3's global average score. Each score is color coded by level of engagement.

      RANKED QUESTIONS

In the RANKED QUESTIONS view, each survey question is listed in the order of the highest to the lowest score.

The difference between your team's score and E3's Global Average score (above-green or below-red) is noted by a bar chart.

You can sort this page by any column, simply by clicking on the carrot arrows to the right of each column title. This sorting feature allows you to view your results by greatest or least differences, by engagement dimension, or by rank.

      VERBATIM COMMENTS

At the end of the survey,. your participants have the option to answer a single question "Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience working here?"

The answers to this question are presented in the VERBATIM COMMENTS view of the survey results.

      YOUR ENGAGEMENT REPORT

The ENGAGEMENT REPORT is available for download at the the bottom of each page of the survey results views. This pdf report offers both a high altitude overview and a more contextual review of your results.

The report continues with a look at your organization’s top strengths and opportunities in our five engagement dimensions: Accountability, Alignment, Capability, Communication, and Relationships. Each leadership dimension provides recommended follow-up actions based on the data identified.

How you share these insights with employees is critically important, so we also provide recommendations on how best to disseminate the results throughout the organization.

      ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

In POST SURVEY RESOURCES, you will find three free resources to support your efforts to increase engagement and a healthy culture once you know your survey results.

Click the DOWNLOAD button under any of the document descriptions to save the pdf to your computer.

In addition, two premium resources are available to take your culture to the next level. Manager Resource Center (leadership platform) and Thrive by Design (book) are two critical resources our clients use regularly to lead and support their team members more effectively.
